CoMind announced $102.5 million in total funding on October 20, 2025. The new money is a $60 million Series A led by Plural, according to co-investor Angelini Ventures. Angelini, LocalGlobe, Octopus Ventures, Crane, Backed VC and Entrepreneurs First also participated. Several outlets reported the figure as a single $102.5 million round; the company's own release gives only the cumulative total.

The London company's first product, CoMind One, sends low-power laser light through an adhesive forehead sensor. It is designed to measure cerebral blood flow, cerebral autoregulation and intracranial pressure continuously at the bedside. Today, measuring intracranial pressure means drilling a hole in the skull for a probe.

Proceeds fund the U.S. regulatory push, more clinical trials, hiring and manufacturing partnerships. Founder and CEO James Dacombe told Tech.eu the target is FDA authorization within two years. A device that reads intracranial pressure without a probe will need agreement data against invasive monitors. That is a slow trial to run in critical care.
