Hurotics raised 25 billion won, about $18.8M, in a Series A led by Atinum Investment. The money funds overseas regulatory filings for its H-Medi gait rehabilitation exosuit and production of a consumer walking aid.
Nami Surgical, a 2021 University of Glasgow spinout, said on October 14 that it raised £3.4M as a round extension. The Scottish National Investment Bank put in £2M, and the money funds commercialization of a miniaturized ultrasonic scalpel for robotic surgery.
Innovate UK awarded Siloton an £8.4M two-year contract on October 14 to develop GiraffeOCT, a handheld eye imaging system built on a photonic chip. Sunderland Specialist Eye Hospital will run the in-clinic trials.
DARPA awarded Abram Scientific a contract worth up to $8.3M on October 13 to adapt its CoagCare point-of-care coagulation system for trauma care. The Menlo Park company took a $2M DARPA contract in October 2025.
Curadel Surgical Innovations disclosed $49,844,295 raised toward a $57.5 million offering in a Form D signed October 13. Thirty-nine investors have come in since the first sale on September 18, 2026.
NeuroGyn, based in Zug, Switzerland, said on October 13 that it closed a CHF 4M Series A led by an unnamed Swiss institutional investor. The money funds the first human studies of PosStim, a pelvic neuromodulation platform aimed first at overactive bladder.
Scarlet raised a $50 million Series B led by Headline on October 12. The London company holds designation as an EU MDR notified body, a UK MHRA approved body and an FDA-recognized third party review organization, all aimed at software and AI devices.
The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center opened Access and Accelerate, a quarterly grant program paying up to $150,000 for commercialization work rather than R&D. The current submission period closes October 30 at 1 p.m. ET.
Sava closed a $36M Series B on October 9 led by Ascensia Diabetes Care, which also becomes its exclusive European distributor. The London company is targeting CE approval for non-adjunctive dosing in 18 to 24 months.
Medical Microinstruments closed a $125M Series D on October 8, led by existing investor BioStar Capital. Its Symani microsurgery robot has about 50 installations and 3,500 procedures behind it.
Healthleap disclosed $38M on October 7: an $8M seed co-led by Sequoia Capital and First Round Capital, and a $30M Series A led by Hummingbird Ventures. The software reads hospital charts and writes a daily risk score into the care team's workflow.
MintNeuro raised 4.4 million euros, about $5 million, led by Odyssey Ventures. The London company sells semiconductors built for neural implants and wearables, and reported the round on October 7, 2026.
Zenflow raised a $52 million Series D led by Cook Medical on October 5. Cook also takes exclusive US distribution rights to the Spring, a reversible nitinol implant FDA approved by PMA in December 2025.
SedMed raised $4M on October 2 in a round led by 108 BioCapital. The Milford, Connecticut company sells a sit-to-stand toilet lift that bolts onto a standard toilet and needs no electricity, batteries or remodeling.
Boston Scientific released the $8M holdback from its $88M purchase of Elutia's BioEnvelope business after the one year indemnity period closed with no claims filed. Elutia says the cash funds it into 2029 without an equity raise.
Sofinnova Partners closed Sofinnova MD Start IV at 82 million euros, about $93 million, on September 29. The fund creates companies rather than backing existing ones, and targets six to eight medtech ventures over five years.
Precision Neuroscience closed an oversubscribed $250M Series D on September 24, co-led by Pershing Square Inc., the Ackman Oxman Institute and a life sciences fund it did not name. The round takes total funding to $430M, five years after the New York company started.
Redefine Surgery closed an oversubscribed $10M pre-seed on September 24, funded mostly by surgeon investors. It also named Catalyst OrthoScience its founding partner in shoulder arthroplasty.
UltraSight raised $24 million in a Series B2 led by the Alive HealthTech Grow Fund. The money goes to US commercial expansion of its AI echocardiography guidance software and to new products for intensive care.
Anaconda Biomed closed a $56M equity round on September 23, 2026, led by Omega Funds. Most of the money funds ATHENA, a 327-subject randomized IDE study of the ANA Funnel Catheter in large vessel occlusion stroke.
HighLife announced 80 million euros, more than $90M, on September 22, 2026. Andera Partners, Sofinnova Partners, Supernova Invest and Merieux Equity Partners co-led the round for the company's transcatheter mitral valve replacement system.
Dialybrid closed a 15 million euro Series A led by XGEN Venture on September 22, 2026. The Italian company announced the round alongside the first human implant of its Silkothane arteriovenous graft.
AVAVA said on September 17 it raised $45 million, split into $30 million of equity and a $15 million debt facility. Catalio Capital Management led the equity and supplied the debt.
FIZE Medical announced the first close of a $20 million Series B on September 17, co-led by Asahi Kasei Medical and Rapha Capital Management. The money goes to FIZE Optima, a predictive layer on top of its CE-marked urine output monitor.
Stockholm-based Tandem Health raised a $100M Series B on September 14 led by the EQT-managed Scaleup Europe Fund. Its AI scribe, coding assistant and clinical decision support tool all carry Class IIa certification under the EU Medical Device Regulation.
Glucotrack announced $11.5 million in convertible notes on September 11, 2026. Only $4.5 million is new cash. Another $4.5 million is existing notes rolled over, and the paper carries a 22 percent original issue discount.
Nvidia made its first equity investment in Verily on September 10, 2026, on undisclosed terms, alongside more capital from the CU Healthcare Innovation Fund. The money goes to Verily's Pre platform, the Verily Me app and a health risk model called Forecast 1.0.
Implicity raised $40 million, about 35 million euros, in growth equity led by IRIS and Five Arrows. The Paris company monitors more than 120,000 patients a day on two FDA-cleared algorithms.

Medtronic will pay about $700 million for rights to distribute Cornerstone Robotics' Sentire surgical robot outside the United States. The Hong Kong company, founded in 2019, won a CE mark for Sentire in May 2026.

Aurenar closed an oversubscribed $5.7M seed round on July 28, 2026, co-led by the AHA's Go Red for Women Venture Fund and Solas BioVentures. Its V-Link ear-worn vagus nerve stimulator for vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage got FDA Breakthrough designation on June 30.
GT Medical Technologies closed an oversubscribed $100M Series E led by Viking Global Investors on June 9, 2026, bringing total funding to $214M. Its GammaTile brain brachytherapy implant cut 12-month surgical-bed recurrence to 1.3% from 15.4% in the ROADS trial.
CereVasc closed an initial $85M Series C led by Piper Sandler Merchant Banking on June 4, 2026, with J&J's JJDC and Medtronic both investing. The Boston company is running the STRIDE trial of eShunt, an endovascular CSF shunt for normal pressure hydrocephalus.
Veritas Aortic Solutions, an inQB8 Medical Technologies spinout in Costa Mesa, CA, closed a $12M seed round on June 1, 2026. Medtech angel investors led, with Cedars-Sinai Intellectual Property Company joining, to take the TVARC aortic root implant to first-in-human use.
Boston Scientific announced a $1.5B investment in MiRus on May 18, 2026, buying about 34% of the company. It also holds an option on the rest of MiRus's TAVR business, whose nickel-free SIEGEL valve has entered a 1,025-patient approval trial.
Mobia Medical, the renamed MicroTransponder, priced its IPO at $15 a share on May 7, 2026, selling 10 million shares for $150M gross. Its Vivistim stroke implant, approved under PMA P210007 in 2021, brought in $32M of revenue in 2025.
Aidoc announced a $150M Series E led by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives on April 29, 2026, taking total funding past $500M. The radiology AI company runs in nearly 2,000 hospitals and holds more than 30 FDA 510(k) clearances.
Axoft closed an oversubscribed $55M Series A led by C.P. Group Innovation on April 29, 2026. The Cambridge, MA company has implanted its Fleuron-based brain-computer interface in 11 or more patients and will build a GMP plant in Boston.
Hypervision Surgical closed a £17M (about $23M) Series A led by Heal Capital on April 29, 2026. Its HyperSnap Surgical System was cleared under K250268 in June 2025 with a new product code for AI-based video augmentation in surgery.
Endovascular Engineering (E2) closed an oversubscribed $80M Series C co-led by Gilde Healthcare and Norwest on April 7, 2026. The Menlo Park company will build a sales force for Hēlo, its thrombectomy catheter cleared under K252956 in December 2025.
Endogenex closed a $50M Series C extension on March 25, 2026, led by new investor Arboretum Ventures. The Series C now totals $138M and funds the sham-controlled study of ReCET, its endoscopic pulsed electric field therapy for type 2 diabetes.
Vitestro closed an oversubscribed $70M Series B on March 10, 2026, with Labcorp Venture Fund, Mayo Clinic and Sutter Health among new investors. The Utrecht company will use it for a De Novo submission and US scale-up of Aletta, its autonomous blood-draw robot.
Cognito Therapeutics closed an oversubscribed $105M Series C on March 5, 2026, co-led by Morningside Ventures, IAG Capital Partners and Starbloom Capital. The money carries its Spectris gamma stimulation device for Alzheimer's through HOPE trial data, an FDA submission and a 2027 launch.
Neurent Medical closed an oversubscribed 62.5 million euro ($74 million) Series C on February 11, 2026. MVM Partners led, with Sofinnova Partners joining as a new investor. The Galway company's NEUROMARK radiofrequency system has held 510(k) clearance since October 2021.
Inquis Medical closed a $75 million Series C on January 12, 2026, funded by an undisclosed strategic investor. The Menlo Park company's Aventus thrombectomy system has a string of 510(k)s, including the June 2025 pulmonary embolism clearance under K251189.
Ventaris Surgical closed a $30 million Series A led by Longitude Capital on January 9, 2026, with Vensana Capital joining as a new investor. The San Carlos company is developing a ureteroscopic system aimed at complete kidney stone clearance in a single procedure.
Spiro Medical closed a $67 million Series A led by Andera Partners on January 7, 2026, with Omega Funds and Sherpa Healthcare Partners co-leading. The Irvine startup, which surfaced in 2025, is developing a Pulmonary Neuromodulation System for severe asthma.
Biobeat Technologies closed a $50 million Series B co-led by Ally Bridge Group, OrbiMed and Elevage Medical on December 30, 2025. The Israeli company's chest patch, cleared under K241066 in January 2025, measures ambulatory blood pressure without a cuff.
Akura Medical closed the first $53 million of a Series C led by the Qatar Investment Authority on December 1, 2025. The Shifamed portfolio company will finish enrolling the QUADRA-PE trial of its Katana thrombectomy system and set up a joint venture in Qatar.
Cordance Medical closed an oversubscribed seed round of more than $8 million led by Sonder Capital, announced November 24, 2025. The Mountain View company holds an FDA Breakthrough Device designation in neuro-oncology and is planning its first-in-human trial.
Okami Medical closed a $45 million financing led by new investor Gilde Healthcare on November 19, 2025, with Vensana Capital and U.S. Venture Partners returning. The Aliso Viejo company also named former Inari Medical CEO Drew Hykes president and CEO.
Distalmotion closed a $150 million Series G led by Revival Healthcare Capital on November 18, 2025. The Lausanne company also named former Silk Road Medical CEO Chas McKhann executive chairman as it targets U.S. ambulatory surgery centers with the Dexter robot.
Beacon Biosignals closed an oversubscribed $86 million Series B on November 13, 2025, with six co-leads including Innoviva, GV and Takeda. The Boston company's Waveband headband, formerly Dreem 3S, holds three 510(k)s.
Synchron closed a $200 million Series D led by Double Point Ventures on November 6, 2025, bringing total funding to $345 million. The New York company will use it for late-stage trials and launch preparation for the Stentrode endovascular brain-computer interface.
London neurotech CoMind announced $102.5 million in total funding on October 20, 2025, with the new $60 million Series A led by Plural. The money goes to U.S. regulatory work on CoMind One, a non-invasive bedside brain monitor.
