FDA cleared Coreline Soft's AVIEW Aorta Metrics on October 16, the company's 13th US 510(k). The software segments the aorta from a chest CT and measures diameters across anatomical regions. It also classifies aortic zones and produces curved planar reformation, cross sectional and 3D views with an analysis report.

The clearance extends a portfolio built on reading one chest CT several ways, alongside the company's lung nodule and coronary calcium tools. Coreline says the next move is PACS-integrated automation with INFINITT North America rather than standalone hospital installs. Whether a measurement tool gets used in a radiology department depends more on that integration work than on the clearance that precedes it.
