Elutia has collected the full $8M that Boston Scientific held back from the October 2025 sale of its BioEnvelope business. The $88M deal carried a one year indemnity holdback. No claims were filed, and the escrow released on October 1.

Elutia (Nasdaq: ELUT) says the money carries it through the first full year of the NXT-41x launch and into 2029 without an equity offering. NXT-41x is its next antibiotic-eluting surgical matrix, with FDA clearance expected in the first half of 2027. Two earlier moves did similar work this year: an Avenue Capital loan facility on August 11 and the SimpliDerm divestiture on August 17.

Three non-dilutive sources inside two months is the profile of a company that would rather sell assets than price a round at this share price. The runway math assumes NXT-41x clears on schedule, which makes the submission timeline the number to watch rather than the cash balance.
