iRhythm Technologies closed its acquisition of VitalConnect on October 6, two months after announcing it. The price was $287.5 million. Of that, $237.5 million came in cash off iRhythm's balance sheet, with about 423,334 iRhythm shares issued at closing.

VitalConnect sells a wearable patch platform for mobile cardiac telemetry and multi-vitals monitoring. iRhythm also put $10 million of working capital into the company between signing in August and the close. iRhythm says the deal leaves its 15 percent adjusted EBITDA margin target for 2027 intact.

For a monitoring company, the shape of this exit matters as much as the price. VitalConnect sold into a gap in iRhythm's line, cardiac telemetry and multi-vitals beyond the wearable patch, instead of competing with the patch directly.
