Medtronic won a CE mark for the Vitalis family of pacemakers, built for conduction system pacing. The approval covers five devices: ReSyncra CSP, Restoria CSP, Refina CSP, Effectra and Confirma.
Conduction system pacing stimulates the heart's specialized conductive bundles instead of the ventricles directly. ReSyncra CSP carries extra technology for patients who are candidates for cardiac resynchronization therapy but have not responded to conventional approaches. ReSyncra CSP, Restoria CSP and Refina CSP are dual chamber devices with a CSP MVP feature for tailoring pacing therapy, and all three support remote and in-office monitoring.
Medtronic has spent years assembling the rest of the kit. It already holds CE marks for the SelectSecure MRI SureScan Model 3830 pacing lead, the C320LBB lead placement system and a rotatable connector accessory that keeps signal monitoring going during implantation. FDA expanded approval of its OmniaSecure defibrillation lead to left bundle branch placement in March 2026. Medtronic gave no US timeline for the Vitalis generators.
