Nyxoah named Liam Kelly chief executive on September 29, effective October 1. Kelly ran Teleflex. He replaces Olivier Taelman, who led the Belgian neuromodulation company for seven years.
Nyxoah's Genio hypoglossal nerve stimulator won FDA approval in mid-2025 and sells against Inspire Medical. Genio carries no lead and no implanted battery, taking power wirelessly through the skin from a worn unit. The company raised $95 million in a summer offering to fund the US build-out.
