Sight Diagnostics laid off its roughly 20 remaining employees in April 2026, the end of several years of shrinking. The company had passed 150 people at its peak and raised about $124 million from Koch Disruptive Technologies, Longliv Ventures, CK Hutchison Holdings and OurCrowd.

Founded in 2011 in Tel Aviv by Yossi Pollak and Daniel Levner, the company built Sight OLO, a benchtop analyzer that runs a complete blood count from a small sample in minutes. FDA cleared it under K190898 in November 2019 and again under K211840 in May 2022. It was installed at Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital, with more placements planned in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Clearance and installations were never the constraint. Selling a benchtop CBC analyzer into labs that already own a working analyzer is, and $124 million was not enough runway to change that math.
