The San Carlos, California company is developing a ureteroscopic system for kidney stone removal. The design targets the anatomy, stone burden, workflow constraints and surgeon fatigue that leave residual fragments after ureteroscopy. CEO Surag Mantri describes the goal as reliably achieving complete stone clearance. The device is investigational and not cleared by FDA; proceeds fund clinical development and regulatory and commercial milestones. A ureteroscope has predicates, so the pathway is likely a 510(k); the hard part is evidence for a residual-fragment claim.
