Wandercraft bought Ekso Bionics and signed and closed the deal on the same day, October 1. Neither side disclosed the price. The seller was ChronoScale Holdings Corporation (Nasdaq: CHRN), which is moving toward cloud AI infrastructure.
Four exoskeletons now sit under one owner. Wandercraft brings Atalante X for clinics and Eve for personal use. Ekso brings EksoNR for clinics and Indego Personal. Atalante X and EksoNR together run in more than 700 rehabilitation centers worldwide. Both platforms hold FDA clearances and CE marks covering stroke, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis and acquired brain injury.
Two personal exoskeletons in one portfolio leaves an overlap to resolve. Wandercraft opened Eve sales in September with Medicare code K1007 in hand, which gives it a reimbursement path Indego Personal customers will ask about.
