Zenflow raised a $52 million Series D led by Cook Medical, announced October 5. Cook also takes exclusive US distribution rights to the Zenflow Spring.
ClavystBio invested for the first time. Invus Opportunities, F-Prime and Medtech Venture Partners returned. HSBC Bank USA and Trinity Capital provided debt alongside the equity. Zenflow is based in South San Francisco.
The Spring is a nitinol implant that props open a urethra narrowed by benign prostatic hyperplasia. A physician places it through a single-use flexible cystoscope with an integrated positioning balloon, without general anesthesia or an incision, and can remove it later. FDA approved it by PMA in December 2025 as a first-line interventional therapy.
Letting the lead investor take the sales channel is the trade. Zenflow gets a urology field force it would have spent years hiring. Cook gets a first-line BPH device without having run the PMA itself.
