Beacon Biosignals raised $86 million in an oversubscribed Series B announced November 13, 2025. Six investors co-led: Innoviva, GV, Nexus NeuroTech Ventures, S32, Catalio Capital Management and Takeda. General Catalyst, Logos Capital, Casdin Capital and Indicator Ventures also participated. Total funding now exceeds $121 million.
The Boston company's Waveband headband, sold until recently as Dreem 3S, records EEG during sleep and wake at home. FDA cleared the Dreem 3S under K223539 in August 2023 and the SleepStageML sleep-staging algorithm under K233438 in March 2024. An updated Dreem 3S cleared under K242094 in November 2024. Beacon also integrated CleveMed's home sleep test technology, adding airflow, respiratory effort and oxygen saturation.
Beacon pairs the hardware with AI trained on what it says are millions of hours of EEG. The output is brain-function biomarkers sold to drug developers and clinics. Proceeds go to scaling operations, biomarker discovery and clinical adoption. A six-lead syndicate that includes Takeda points to where the near-term revenue sits, in sponsored trials.
