Nvidia put equity into Verily for the first time on September 10. Neither company disclosed the amount. The CU Healthcare Innovation Fund, already an investor, added capital at the same time. The two companies have worked together since October 2025, so the check formalizes an arrangement that already existed.
Verily will spend it on the Pre platform, where researchers exchange biomedical data and run models, and on Verily Me, a patient app that reads symptoms and medical records. A third program, Forecast 1.0, is a multimodal model built on genomics and EHR data that predicts long term health risk. Alphabet has been a minority holder since it cut its controlling stake in March 2026.
None of the three carries an FDA authorization today. Forecast 1.0 is the one to watch, because a model that predicts risk for an individual drifts toward device territory the moment its output guides a clinical decision.
